Cybersecurity and privacy have become critical components of our lives. According to the White House, cybersecurity threats represent one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face, but one for which we are not yet adequately prepared to counter.

The Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity program, offered by the Department of Computer Science, is designed to equip graduate students with both foundational and cutting-edge cybersecurity and privacy concepts, and to contribute to the formation of well-trained cyber-defense practitioners and researchers.

Admission Requirements:

1. Open to UGA/non-UGA students with a Bachelor's degree.

2. Apply online thru UGA Graduate Admissions.

3. Official undergraduate transcript

4. No entrance exams, unless English is not the primary language in country of educational instruction. If English is not primary language, need TOEFL or IELTS scores.

Applicants must submit separate applications when seeking a certificate and a degree. Admission to the certificate does not guarantee admission to the MS degree. Application deadlines are the same as MS/Phd for fall/spring semesters.
