Research Interests:

My research focuses on the processing and analysis of biomedical images and videos, with an emphasis on developing innovative methods for segmentation and pattern recognition. I work on tasks ranging from basic segmentation of regions of interest to creating novel automated segmentation techniques. In my recent work, I developed a supervised cilia segmentation model that leverages ground-truth labels generated by an unsupervised method. Additionally, I explore dynamic biological phenomena, such as analyzing 4D videos of Toxoplasma gondii to track and cluster their movement trajectories into distinct phenotypes, revealing insights into their behavior.
