Graduate Research Assistant Prasanth is a senior Ph.D. candidate who is exploring solutions to Human-Robot Interaction problems through Inverse Reinforcement Learning (IRL). Specifically, he is interested in learning how a cobot (collaborative robot) can navigate shared workspaces in a safe and compatible manner to effectively team up with a human. Prasanth received his Masters in Mechanical Engineering - Robotics, from the Colorado School of Mines. Currently, his robotic application is on a fast track to being deployed as a commercial product in produce sorting sheds.
