Yu Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Institute of AI at the University of Georgia. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University at 2024 and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon between 2024 and 2026. He directs the Knowledge Intelligence for Discovery and Decision-Making lab, which conducts research in machine learning, Agentic AI (LLMs), and (Graph-)Structured Data, with a particular interest in how to leverage agentic intelligence to reason over structured knowledge and how to leverage structured intelligence to manage agentic processing. His publications span top venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, KDD, ACL, WWW, and NAACL. He has received multiple honors, including the ACM SIGKDD Doctoral Dissertation Honorable Mention Award (2026), Best Paper at NeurIPS GLFrontiers (2023).
